The Alban Wine Glass is designed for wine lovers and those who savor a glass of port or a rich dessert wine. Sculptural yet balanced, it brings a sense of poetry and intention to the table.

The Alban collection was conceived before Akua Objects was founded. First sketched in 2019, it was created while Annika’s first-born son, Alban, was still growing in her belly, imbuing the collection with themes of life, growth, and remembrance.

Inspired by the delicate beauty of flowers, the wine glass evokes the graceful tulip. Its sculptural bowl resembles a blooming flower, unfolding from a stem marked by a dramatic thorn, while the root-shaped base anchors the glass firmly to the earth.

The Alban Wine Glass offers a contemporary interpretation of the poppy, an enduring symbol that has always been close to Annika’s heart.
