Named after Karl, Annika’s husband, the Karl Vase is defined by the meeting of different forms, creating a distinctive and architectural silhouette. Its design feels timeless, as if it could have emerged during the Art Deco period, while remaining unmistakably contemporary within Akua Objects’ poetic universe.

Each Karl Vase is created by four skilled artisans. This collaborative process is essential to what makes the piece so precious, four sets of hands shaping molten glass into a form that is never exactly repeated. Subtle variations in shape and detail are a natural part of the making, ensuring that every vase is truly one of a kind.
