Alban Vase Tulip

Mouth-blown and handcrafted Bohemian glassware. Made in Bohemia.

Ideal for freshly picked flowers, whether placed on a desk or used as a centerpiece on the dining table.

The Alban Vase Tulip is part of the Alban collection, designed before Akua Objects was founded. The collection was first sketched in 2019, while Annika’s first-born son, Alban, was still growing in her belly.

Inspired by the symbol of growing life and the remembrance of the poppy, these early drawings later evolved into a collection named after Alban.

The Tulip vase conveys a contemporary interpretation of the flower it is named after. Its gently unfolding form recalls a blooming tulip, while subtle variations in the glass reveal the handmade process. Small air bubbles may occur, quietly capturing the breath of the glassblower and making each vase unique.
